It started in 2009 at The 100 Club in London, one of the city's most celebrated venues. Bands comprised of musically brilliant legal professionals competed against each other for charity. In 2012, Law Rocks USA began, with each band playing for the benefit of their nonprofit pick. Since then, these "battle of the bands" style rock concerts have spread to Los Angeles, Boston, San Francisco and now, New York. 

 

Law Rocks provides an opportunity for the legal community in cities around the nation to bring attention and funding to deserving local nonprofits. Our vision is to make a difference in these cities by raising funds and attention for those local nonprofits that change local lives. Each concert is a memorable event where legal professional can let their hair down while spotlighting the real rockstars - the nonprofit organizations. At the end of the night the winning band is selected by three factors - donations raised, judge's score, and audience favorite. The net event proceeds are shared across all the charities being played for, with the winning band’s designated charity receiving the largest donation of the night.
